Job Title: Sterile Pharmacy Technician
Location: Altamonte Springs, FL 32714
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $19 – $24 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. This full-time, direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented technician with a strong background in sterile compounding, particularly within hospital or oncology pharmacy settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of two licensed PharmDs

Set up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for sterile preparation

Mix and package IV antibiotics and other sterile solutions in compliance with safety and sterility standards

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of compounding and pharmacy areas

Rotate and restock inventory to ensure compliance with quality control measures

Maintain and adhere to pharmacy policies and sterile compounding standards

Document activities accurately using EPIC EMR

Collaborate with pharmacy team members to meet daily operational goals

Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:
Current Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Florida (required)

Minimum 2 years of hands-on sterile compounding experience (post-externship, required)

Hospital or Oncology pharmacy experience (required)

Strong knowledge of sterile technique, IV compounding, and medication safety

Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong teamwork and communication skills
