We are seeking a Staff Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. Position is a blend of transactional and entry-level accounting in a hybrid (office/home) work environment based out of the Houston, TX office. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask. Responsibilities include processing accounting for central US Concerts’ Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts, assisting Accountants and Manager with account reconciliations or ad hoc requests, reconciling General Ledger accounts and researching to ensure accuracy, preparing and entering month end journal entries, reconciling bank accounts for cash accounts managed by group, reviewing and organizing manual check process and associated transactions, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures/policies including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, maintaining, controlling and reconciling accounts that are basic to moderately complex, preparing daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports and schedules, and assisting with special projects as assigned. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, 1-3 years’ comparable work experience, quality problem solving and communication skills, Oracle experience a plus, and excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
