- Contract - 6 months, possibility of extension

Only considering candidates with the following: - Bachelor's degree (BA, BS)
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proven experience in leading development projects or work streams.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL querying, especially Oracle.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in automating processes and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Hybrid with onsite in Folsom for minimum 4 days every week
- Familiarity with debugging Perl, C and Oracle Database PLSQL code
Experience in following development technologies is strongly desired: - Experience with modern Python frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and other modern development tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms
- Background in Agile or DevOps environments.
Responsibilities: - Lead and contribute to end-to-end development of Python-based applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reusable code.
- Work independently to meet project deliverables on time.
- Perform advanced SQL querying and work with relational databases, with a strong preference for Oracle.
- Identify, design, and implement automation opportunities across business processes.
- Recommend improvements to existing systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software Delivery Vendor when needed, while taking full ownership of assigned tasks.
