General Function The Licensed Target Store Manager aims to make guests happy by making eye care simple and enjoyable. They lead a team to deliver an exceptional experience, meeting all brand goals and commitments. Major Duties and Responsibilities Ensure team members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching brand standards. Help team understand the importance of the Playground Rules and being Guest Ready. Manage floor flow and serve as a caretaker for guests and team members. Develop clear action plans for team development and hold team accountable. Provide timely, motivating, and developmental feedback. Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions. Understand key success factors within the business and identify improvement areas. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and store hosts to enhance business performance. Recruit top talent and maintain a pool of potential applicants. Create and adjust staff schedules based on business trends and traffic. Manage payroll and personnel documentation. Maintain store standards, including inventory and merchandising. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Opticianry License or ABO Certification as required by state law 3+ years in customer service or retail Critical thinking skills Experience in recruiting and talent development Strong selling skills Ability to motivate and influence others Preferred Qualifications 3+ years management or supervisory experience Pay Range $31.23 - $55.84 Compensation depends on location, experience, qualifications, skills, and adherence to minimum wage laws. Benefits may include health care, retirement, paid time off, and employee discounts. Bonuses and commissions may also be offered.
