Village Caregiving - Bowling Green In Home Caregiver Smiths Grove, Kentucky Description of the role:

• Provide assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in their own homes.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and provide companionship for clients.
• Help with medication management.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks.
• Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Run errands and provide transportation for clients.
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a caregiver preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Help clients take prescribed medication * Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) * Assist clients with personal care and hygiene * Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises * Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed * Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals * Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members * Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members * Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS
